    • Writing a job description using the O*NET website.
    • Job Evaluation Using the point method
    • Analysis of pay survey data for benchmark jobs.
      • Create a competitive company pay line using Excel.
    • Create a pay policy line based on a stated pay-level strategy.
      • Create pay grades.
      • Establish pay ranges.

  • Understand the laws on payments, deductions and calculation in
    connection with employment, EPF, SOCSO and income tax laws
    of Malaysia
  • Able to perform calculation of salary for incomplete months, benefits
    such as leave encashment, OT, rest day and public holidays, gratuity,
    retirement, maternity benefits payments accurately
  • Perform calculation of deductions for advance, absenteeism, indemnity
    lieu of notice, deduction under other laws like EPF, SOCSO and income
    tax
  • Able to detect law compliance issues with the payroll systems and the
    company’s practices on work and payment
  • Make the right decisions on penalty absent on or before a paid public
    holiday
  • Able to advise management on corrective action to ensure compliance
  • Prepare payroll according to the laws of Malaysia
